The God Who Heals Me - Chuck Glover, Prayer Team
I’ve struggled with skin cancer, melanoma in particular, for more than 25 years. First diagnosed in the
early nineties with successful in-office surgery following, I was put on a 6 month check-up routine for
life. During these check-ups various basil cell carcinoma and squamous cell were removed. Melanoma
struck again in 2011, this time requiring a successful hospital surgery and this year in July requiring both in-office and hospital surgeries. Someone recently told me they didn’t know of anyone dying from skin cancer. I do, someone close to me at work for more than 10 years died from this in his mid-fifties. Each time a diagnosis comes in with the word melanoma, a cold shiver of fear comes in immediately!

I go to the Lord with it and to folks who pray lifting me up for the healing, standing on His Word and for His Peace for myself and my family. John 14:27 tells us in the words of Christ, “Peace I leave with you, my Peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” As of this writing I’m still waiting on the final results from the latest surgery, but I am in His Peace believing for my healing.
