Awana Missionaries TJ & Kathy Sipes

TJ and Kathy serve more than 150 churches in Mississippi and West Tennessee.  They provide training, resources and encouragement to help churches and ministry leaders do effective and life-changing ministry to children and youth who desperately need the hope of Jesus!  One of their main roles is to encourage and equip Awana Leaders and church staff in the use of the Awana Ministry.

Gordon Pike Educational Missionary Ministry

Gordon and Norma Pike minister with ProMETA, an interdenominational ministry of theological and Christian leadership education for church leaders in the Spanish-speaking world. By means of internet technology ProMETA provides training in theology, Bible, and Christian leadership at postgraduate, graduate and non-academic levels for students in 23 different countries, who participate in a variety of church ministries, including pastorates, while they study online.

All ProMETA programs are offered in Spanish, and do not have residency requirements, making them highly accessible to Spanish-speaking, Christian leaders in Latin America and Europe. Gordon serves as professor of pastoral counseling and the Associate Academic Dean.  Norma ministers by means of daily intercessory prayer for ProMETA staff and students.  Faith Anglican Church contributes to their monthly support.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child uses gift-filled shoe boxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Last year the people of Faith Anglican Church provide 300 gift boxes and postage. Faith Anglican Church partners with many Christ-centered churches here in the Mid-South and throughout the country through Samaritan's Purse in this annual outreach program. Last year we received a moving "Thank You" card from one of our recipients in Zambia delivered by a missionary returning to the US for sabbatical.
