OUR VISION: A Christ Centered Community Growing in Faith.

Prayer Ministry PDF Print E-mail

The mission of the prayer ministry at Faith Anglican is to assist every member of the congregation to progress in the practice of prayer as each of us journeys toward wholeness in Christ.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER
A time of intercessory prayer is offered with the laying on of hands and anointing with oil during the 10:30 am worship service each Sunday morning. A team of trained intercessors prays with those coming forward for prayer at the time of Communion and following the service.

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING
The Daughters of the King is an Order for women of the Anglican Church. Every Daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service and personal evangelism dedicated to the extension of Christ’s Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.

MONTHLY PRAYER MEETINGS
On the second Tuesday of each month we have a morning and evening hour-long prayer meeting.  We pray those needs that have been sent in and whatever the Holy Spirit brings to mind.  We pray over those who request the laying on of hands and anointing with oil.

CORPORATE PRAYER
Everyone is invited to come and pray in the santuary any or every Saturday from 7-8 a.m.  We are praying for revival according to II Chronicles 7:14.  Any questions?  Call Deborah Glover, 901-237-4931.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER TEAM AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT
The Prayer Team is also available by appointment, and those appointments can be arranged at designated places such as the church, your home, hospitals, nursing homes, or by phone. Our lives are woven from many threads: spiritual, physical, relational, financial and emotional. If you have need for prayer in any of these areas, please contact Rita Barnett at 726-1946 ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ), Pat Covington at 662-893-2266, or other members of the team to request a time.
