What We Believe:
We desire to live out the faith that has been received and carried on by the historic Christian Church throughout the centuries in ways that engage people today.  This includes a commitment to the Bible as the Word of God -- that it is the truth by which we order our lives.  We also hold to the central place of Jesus Christ as the unique Son of God -- that salvation is found in His sacrificial death and resurrection alone...
Basic Statement on Beliefs »

Our belief is summed up in the historic statements such as the
Nicene Creed and the Anglican 39 ArticlesAll members afirm the Baptismal Covenant, which includes the Apostle's Creed and basic Christian commitments.

Church History:
In the spring of 2003, most members of a local Episcopal Church founded Faith Anglican Church and affiliated with the Anglican Mission in the Americas (AMiA).  Our first worship services were held on June 1, 2003 at Southern Traditions in Cordova.  For more information, please read this June 14, 2003 Commercial Appeal newspaper article...Click Here »

The Anglican Mission is linked to the vibrant Anglican Churches in Africa and Asia, which have spearheaded the greatest revival and spreading of Christianity in recent history.  Under the godly leadership of Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini and The Rt. Rev. Philip Jones, Bishop, Little Rock Network, Faith Anglican Church intends to join our Anglican brothers and sisters throughout the world in sharing a faith which is rooted in the Holy Scripture and the historic Christian Creeds, is relevant to our daily lives and improves our relationship with both God and our neighbor

In April of 2005, we purchased land at 9555 Walnut Grove Road.  On July 13, 2008 we held our first worship services in our new building.  From our new facility we plan to continue to grow in faith and spread God's message of love and truth.

Anglican Mission in America:
The AMiA is a missionary outreach of the Anglican Province of Rwanda and globally sponsored by  Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini and Archbishop Datuk Yong Ping Chung.  Under the leadership of Chairman Bishop Charles Murphy III, we are linked to the vibrant Anglican Churches in Africa and Aisa, which have spearheaded the greatest revival and spreading of Christianity in recent history.  Established three years ago in response to the crisis of faith and leadership that exists within the Episcopal Church, The Anglican Mission focuses on reaching out to over 130 million spiritually disconnected people in the United States.

Sunday Worship:
Both Sunday worship services are from The Book of Common Prayer and include Holy Communion with worship music. The 8:10 a.m. service is more traditional while the 10:30 a.m. service is more contemporary.  Anglican Sunday worship may seem a bit ‘formal’ at first but that is far from reality.  We follow an order of worship called the liturgy which includes readings from Holy Scripture, a sermon, a time of prayer and confession, followed by Holy Communion.  At Faith Anglican we combine traditional hymns with modern worship choruses confirming our ‘ancient/future’ place in the church...Click here for full article>>>

Ministry Programs:
Faith Anglican Church offers a wide variety of programs to help you enrich your christian life through opportunities in fellowship and leadership within the church.  Information on various ministries is available in the "Ministries" menu.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."  Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
