Ways of Giving
There are many ways you can give at Faith Anglican Church. Our church depends on you for its annual operating budget, and our annual fall Stewardship Campaign helps the church set the operating budget for the following year.
Secure Online Giving
You can now make your contribution to the church via Paypal.
Appreciated Securities
Are a consideration if you have stocks that have increased in value and you wish to gift the stock directly to the church. The fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift is a charitable deduction and you may avoid paying any capital gains tax that would be due on the sale of the asset. Contact the church office for assistance in making such a gift and always consult your tax preparer beforehand.
Life Insurance Policies
Can name the church as owner and/or beneficiary and may provide an income tax deduction. Premiums paid on a policy gifted to the church are tax deductible.
Retirement Accounts
A person inheriting money from a retirement account may have a large tax
bill if the retirement account contains untaxed earnings. Naming the church as a beneficiary of a retirement account will result in a tax free gift to the church upon the death of the account owner.
Adding Faith to Your Will
Can be a way to leave the church a gift when your estate is settled after your death. Consult your attorney to include the church in your will.
Year-end Giving
Can be a way of completing one’s pledge or long term commitment. Often a year-end bonus from work will provide a means of returning some of God’s blessings to the church. Our tax laws encourage charitable giving and any gifts made prior to December 31 may reduce your income taxes for the year.
Above All
Remember that Faith Anglican Church wants its members to be responsible managers of the wealth that God has blessed us with.
